Vision Coalition of El Dorado Hills Receives County "Volunteer of the Year" Award

Supervisor Helen Baumann has selected the Vision Coalition of El Dorado Hills for the El Dorado County "Volunteers of the Year" award, which was presented June 19, 2007, during the regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting. The meeting took place in the Board of Supervisors chambers at the County Government Center at 330 Fair Lane in Placerville.

The Vision Coalition of El Dorado Hills is a community organization focused on improving the lives of teens in El Dorado Hills. The coalition consists of individuals and organizations sharing resources to empower youth and give them necessary supports and opportunities to thrive and succeed.

Last fall the coalition performed a community survey to assess the needs of youth in El Dorado Hills. The results of the assessment were compiled into a Community Profile that was printed and distributed locally.
