Cordova Community Collaborative for Healthy Children and Families
The Community
Located in eastern Sacramento County, Rancho Cordova is a growing community with a rich diversity of youth and families. Of its population of more than 56,000, 25 percent speak a language other than English at home. A city since 2003, Rancho Cordova is in a reflective mode, exploring emerging needs and opportunities.
The Coalition
As members of the Cordova Community Collaborative, we believe that all children should grow up in a family and community that provide for their health and well-being.
We are committed to strengthening families and linking them to community resources that enhance self-reliance and promote community involvement.
Our collaborative is a program of the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership, which has a mission to mobilize and integrate resources that enhance the education, health and well-being of children and families in our communities.
As a coalition, we know we have the support of individuals, associations and organizations to meet the needs of our community. These partnerships and this collaboration have allowed us to be active, interactive and successful in advocating for and being involved in our community.
The Cordova Community Collaborative includes partnerships with individuals, associations and organizations within the Rancho Cordova community. Attendance and participation is open to all.
