Rancho Cordova Youth Advisory Council Community Grant Forum

The Rancho Cordova REACH Coalition's Youth Advisory Council is offering Peace, Love and Happiness (PLH) Grants. Learn more at this Community Grant Forum being held at 10455 Investment Circle in Rancho Cordova. Pick up a grant application and meet the youth who are making this grant program possible.

Groups that may apply must be youth-led. Youth members must be between 10 and 19 years old and have an agency sponsor (such as a school or faith-based organization) that can provide proof of tax-exempt status, such as an IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter. The organization must be located in Rancho Cordova and projects must be completed in the Rancho Cordova area. Projects must be planned and carried out by youth, and have a positive impact on the Rancho Cordova community, addressing one of the following:

Arts and Culture
Children and Youth Education
Environment, Health and Wellness
Neighborhood Development
Poverty and Human Assistance
Voter Education

Projects must be planned and carried out between Dec. 15, 2008, and June 30, 2009.

Grants are between $1,000 and $1,500.
