Education Depletion: Rising Up & Taking Action
We believe that the foundation of every state is education of its youth. If the foundation is not stable, how can our youth become our future doctors, our future lawyers, and our future artists? Yet, the California state budget deficits could rise to $14.5 billion by June 2009. How can the youth of Sacramento strive to be the best they can be with inadequate resources? Students, teachers, and others are forced to preserve what little resources they have now in order to get through this economic recession. Everyone in the school community has committed themselves to helping students reach for a better education. We believe that by becoming a part of the solution, schools can reduce budget cuts to a minimum in order to provide high-quality education for students.
